Hidden Door reveals one-night Creative Edinburgh Stage to champion future talent
The partnership with Creative Edinburgh and National Centre For Music will debut at this year’s festival

Creative Edinburgh has unveiled a new partnership with Hidden Door and the upcoming National Centre For Music, with a one-night-only Creative Edinburgh Stage as part of Hidden Door’s launch event on Wednesday 11 June.
The collaboration will support Scotland’s creative talent, offering a high-profile platform for emerging Edinburgh-based musicians. Ten solo artists and duos will be selected to perform on the night, celebrating a diverse range of genres and styles while reaching a live audience.
Currently under development within the historic Royal High School building on Calton Hill, the National Centre For Music is set to become a major new hub for music in Scotland and beyond. The venue will feature performance and rehearsal spaces, a recording studio and conference facilities, providing year-round opportunities for musical talent to grow and connect with audiences both local and global.
Ola Wojtkiewicz, executive director at Creative Edinburgh said: ‘Every artist needs a stepping stone on their path to the big stage – whether that’s a concert hall or an underground club. I’m thrilled that Creative Edinburgh can champion ten talented local musicians and be a part of their journey. We couldn’t ask for a more energising partnership, Hidden Door’s artistic vision is infectious, and we’re inspired by what the new National Centre of Music stands for.’
