This is possibly one of the best titled plays in Edinburgh and, if truth be told, it could be one of the better shows. The title outlines the basic premise of the show - a Stalin-approved author is given the job of explaining the benefits of the Russian revolution to mental patients, allowing them to share in its glories. By questioning the nature of Utopia and some rather odd nods in the direction of Switzerland, this looks at the wrongs of the Communist system, not just as it was implemented in Russia but of the whole ideology, whether the people being told of its glories are sane or in one of the three categories of insanity that the Soviets in the play chose to put people in.
