Ivy Paige sets the tone for the night by announcing that it doesn't matter if you identify as she, he or nothing... because all pronouns sound the same with a ball gag in your mouth. She's equal parts filthy and funny as she frolics through a flirty set that attempts to teach the audience the art of seduction.

Apparently, Paige appeared on ITV's The Voice, but when she asks the crowd how many know her from this, not one person puts their hand up. She doesn't look surprised as she acknowledges most people are probably here because of her poster in which she poses with a hotdog.

Throughout the evening, she fulfils the remit of a classic cabaret set with songs such as Madonna's 'Material Girl' sprinkled in between her picking on members of the audience and entertaining with witty anecdotes.

A whole hour of this format, however, feels too unvaried and after another rigid song/audience participation sequence it becomes monotonous. The set would benefit from more spontaneity and a little-added oomph to its format. In fact, it would benefit just from Paige chatting some more as her satirical wit and the ease with which she delivers this is where the performance really shines.
