Jamali Maddix, Alison Spittle, Josie Long and more to hit Monkey Barrel Comedy in 2025
The Edinburgh comedy club shared its packed line-up alongside big hitters arriving throughout this year

Monkey Barrel Comedy has rolled out its line-up for 2025, featuring big names like Dan Tiernan, Marjolein Robertson and Alison Spittle (pictured above), alongside a host of specials and regular nights like Best Of The Fringe and new material evening Top Banana.

The Edinburgh comedy club marked the start of the year by placing a host of new shows on sale from the likes of Matt Richardson, Lauren Pattison, Sam Lake, Josie Long, Catherine Bohart, Rosco McClelland, Lou Conran, Krystal Evans, Ryan Cullen, Amy Annette, Stuart Laws, John Meagher, Sarah Roberts, Rachel Galvo, Mark McCarney and Harry Stachini.
Newly announced specials at the club include Welcome To Hell Live! with Dane Buckley and Daniel Foxx; Chortle Hotshots: Class of 2025, showcasing some of this year's most highly anticipated fringe acts; and Spanish Comedy In Edinburgh with Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year Nominee, Sergi Polo. Plus, Glasgow's premier LGBTQ+ comedy night All Mouth will play in Edinburgh for a one-off Gay-lentine's Special on Thursday 13 February, hosted by Kate Hammer and headlined by Sam Lake.

In another boon for comedy fans, the Glasgow International Comedy Festival also launched its line-up for 2025 this week, featuring a live show from Here Comes The Guillotine, as well appearances from Russell Kane, Jenny Eclair, Andy Zaltzman, Kate Butch, Ania Magliano and many more (loads more, in fact; this year's festival will feature 550 shows).
