As the Edinburgh Festival Fringe comes to an end, Underbelly have organised an evening of live comedy, the Big Brain Benefit, to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity.

The organisation aims to raise awareness of brain tumours being the biggest cancer killer for children and adults under 40, helping to support those suffering from the illness as well as their families. Underbelly's co-founder, Ed Bartlam instigated the fundraiser after his son was hit with a rare brain cancer just last year (now in remission).

John Bishop, Jason Bryne, Tommy Tiernan and Danny Bhoy are all on the bill as well as Aisling Bea, Abandoman, Charlie Baker and Suzi Ruffell. Profits from all ticket sales will go straight to the charity and Underbelly have promised that they will match the box office income to double the money raised on the night.
