The new live performance of Lou Reed's classic album 'Berlin' is to be released as a film on 25 July.
Lou Reed's Berlin, which was directed by Julian Schnabel (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly), will enjoy a limited release around the UK, including a run in Edinburgh.
The film documents the first live performance of Reed's 1973 rock opera, the follow-up to the more commercially successful 'Transformer', which took place at St Anne's Warehouse, New York in December 2006.
Reed is also bringing his live version of the album to Scotland for one date at the Playhouse, Edinburgh on 25 June.
