No one does Hogmanay quite like Edinburgh. Since its inaugural event in 1993, the city has become renowned for its stunning New Year’s Eve party, attracting millions of visitors from across the world. This year's line-up features a typically cracking list of acts and events to help ring in the bells.

Concert In The Gardens with Texas and special guest Callum Beattie
It’s been quite a year for Texas. In 2024, the Glasgow band, who exploded onto the scene in 1989, sold out arena shows across the UK, including two spectacular nights at the Glasgow Hydro. Their highly anticipated return to Edinburgh's Hogmanay will make them the first band to headline the festival three times. Responsible for 40 million record sales, Texas have cemented their position as one of the UK’s most popular bands.
They’ll be joined by special guest Callum Beattie. The Edinburgh native, whose debut album, People Like Us, charted at number one, recently sold out two nights at the Usher Hall.
Holding proceedings together will be the legendary Glasgow comedian Susie McCabe. Winner of this year’s Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award, McCabe rounds off a spectacular year that included a win for Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. Reviewing her Edinburgh Fringe show this year, we said, ‘Her anecdotal gags are unmatched, and her sell-out audience just can’t get enough.’
