It's hard to imagine that Natasia Demetriou has much of a clue as to where this show is going, and she has the air of someone flying by the seat of her one-piece tuxedo. It's pretty joyous knockabout stuff though, despite, or perhaps because of its shambling nature. Former member of sketch group Oyster Eyes, Demetriou bemoans the family pressure to perform her first solo comedy show: her father is an armchair joke teller and little brother Jamie performed an acclaimed show at the 2013 Fringe.

She feigns quivering stage fright, a brave premise to begin the show as she only just pulls it off; embarking on a series of characters: there’s a karate teacher who smells of hot dogs, Nanna Jean the Aussie host of a cancelled TV show and a diva destined to perform in Vegas forever. Most of the really good gags are in the films that allow for her costume changes.

Additionally she's ably supported by comic Mae Martin on the musical numbers, a nice comedy foil to Demetriou who even lends her a wig. The show feels like Demetriou has been let to run riot with the family dressing-up box, but it's a fun hour nonetheless.
