Nation Of Language have announced a handful of UK tour dates for this autumn. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 16 May. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the band’s UK performances. 

The tour continues the campaign to promote the synthpop trio’s third album Strange Disciple, released in 2023 on Play It Again Sam. We awarded the album four stars in our review, writing, ‘Though iterative rather than revolutionary, the strong material here shows Nation Of Language writing their way out of a potential creative cul-de-sac, turning a love affair with OMD and The Human League into a big sexy marriage sparking with joy. Formed in Brooklyn, New York, the band’s debut Introduction, Presence in 2020 won them a cult following, with follow-up A Way Forward in 2021 solidifying their appeal as formidable songwriters. Starting at Dublin’s Opium on Friday 7 November, the band will then hit Manchester’s O2 Ritz on Saturday 8 November, Glasgow’s Saint Luke’s on Sunday 9 November, Cardiff’s Tramshed on Tuesday 11 November and London’s Roundhouse on Wednesday 12 November. Singer-songwriter Westerman will support them on every UK date.
