Grab Christmas by the antlers at one of our events across Scotland
Trust properties from Inverurie to Castle Douglas are brimming with good cheer, season’s greetings and great family fun. Santa and Mrs Claus will be all over the place to hear Christmas wishes, plus there will be roof-raising carol concerts, glitter-tastic craft activities and plenty of Christmas shopping opportunities too. The Trust’s time machines will be working overtime transporting visitors back to Christmases past too.
Keeping Christmas with Mrs Claus
Mrs Claus takes up her annual residency at the beautiful Pollok House, right up until Christmas Eve. She’ll be checking who’s been naughty and who’s been nice, hearing Christmas wishes and handing out presents while preparations at the North Pole. The halls will be well and truly decked too, as every room will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland from days gone by.

Christmas Fair
Beautiful Kellie Castle is taking you back in time for the magic of a Victorian Christmas. Deck the halls, stir the Christmas pud and see how much glitter a Christmas card can handle. Pick up perfect presents too from local crafters and, of course, the Trust’s own fabulous range of festive gifts.

Elf Training School
Budding Buddy the Elves are being summoned to learn the skills to help out Santa at this busy time of year. At Elf School, ‘students’ will learn about 'Elf and Safety' training, present wrapping and reindeer food preparation. Successful elves are rewarded with a certificate and crafty Christmas fun.

Christmas through the ages
Santa’s coming to Castle Fraser in style – he’s arriving by horse and carriage. Toast the big event with a warming mug of mulled punch, and spread some Christmas cheer with some carols. Inside the castle, check out Christmas from Victorian and Tudor times, with authentic costumes, seasonal sword fighting, traditional Victorian games and Christmas crafts.
