June sees the much anticipated return of Netflix Original series Orange is the New Black, now on its fourth season on 17 June. The first season of a Japanese drama based on the first novella by the comedian, Haiku Poet and scriptwriter, Naoki Matayoshi, Hibana: Spark, airs on 3 June.

In film, Netflix purchased the adaptation of Jonathan Evison’s novel The Fundamentals of Caring before it even premiered at Sundance Film Festival this year. It’s a bromance and road trip movie written and directed by Rob Burnett and starring Paul Rudd, Craig Roberts and Selena Gomez. It appears on 24 June. Marvel’s feel-good sci-fi Guardians of the Galaxy, starring a cheeky Chris Pratt, will be available at the end of the month too (20 June). And for those who still have strong feelings about the fact that Rose could have scooched over a bit on that plank of wood and saved Jack from the icy cold water, James Cameron’s Titanic will be available on 1 June.

A few crass comedies appear in June too starting with Seth McFarlane’s A Million Ways to Die in the West, which he stars in alongside Charlize Theron and also Adam Sandler’s crass That’s My Boy that thinks statutory rape is hilarious fodder for cheap gags.
