Marvel fans are treated to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, a mash-up of political thriller and high octane action, and the second season of Daredevil in March on Netflix. Perhaps the biggest new release of the month, however, is House of Cards Season 4, starring Kevin Spacey and appearing on your box from 4 Mar.

Three more original Netflix comedies appear in March including Flaked which stars Will Arnett (who also provides the voice for the exceptional Bojack Horseman) as a self-help guru who needs some serious help and new sketch show Characters, featuring Lauren Lapkus (Susan Fischer from Orange Is The New Black), Kate Berlant (The Meltdown) and Paul W. Downs (Broad City) amongst many others. And Paul Reubens makes his return with a new adventure for cult kids character in Pee-wee’s Big Holiday.

If you’re looking for an 80s Saturday double bill featuring rebellious women and super soundtracks Desperately Seeking Susan which sees Madonna and Rosanna Arquette get up to mischief in NYC and Something Wild which pairs wild child Melanie Griffith and respectable business man Jeff Daniels to great comic effect both appear at the beginning of the month.

Documentary, India's Daughter is a shocking indictment of the way in which women are oppressed. An account of the horrifying gang rape and murder of 23 year old Jyoti Singh in which director Leslee Udwin controversially turns the camera on the men who carried out this abhorrent crime in order to get into their mind-set and it makes for devastatingly sad viewing.
