Orbital add Brown and Green album shows to tour schedule: How to get tickets
The legendary dance duo will play gigs in Belfast, Glasgow and Leeds to celebrate their first two albums

Orbital have added a trio of shows to their tour schedule. Tickets for the gigs go on sale at 10am on Friday 26 July. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the duo’s UK tour dates.
Phil and Paul Hartnoll will play their Brown and Green albums in full during the shows, two dance classics that shot them to stardom in the early 1990s. As well as the new dates, Orbital will also play two special shows with fellow dance pioneer Leftfield at Margate’s Dreamland and Cardiff’s Utilita Arena in September.
We gave the Hartnolls five stars in our review of their gig in Glasgow last year, writing, ‘The agile visuals and sounds of Orbital (which have aged remarkably well compared to their peers) are pure synaesthesia, channelling the flow state of the body and mind, the juddering rhythms and sensory overload of strobing lights enveloping the senses. Deep cuts merge with grade-A classics, while tracks from their latest album Optical Delusion appear in exhilaratingly distended, chopped up form, holding surprises for even the most dedicated fan. At an almost unbroken two hours, you don’t enter an Orbital gig lightly. But those who do will find a duo embracing the past while looking to the future, crafting an energising racket that never dulls.’ Read the full review here.
