Pale Waves announce new album, prepare for winter tour of the UK: how to get tickets

Pale Waves have announced a handful of tour dates for November 2022. Tickets for the shows will be available via fan presale at 10am on Wednesday 18 May, and on general sale from 10am on Friday 20 May. Check the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the band’s tour dates.

The tour comes partly in support of the band’s third studio album Unwanted, set for release on Friday 12 August via Dirty Hit, and follows a packed summer of UK festival appearances, including Neighbourhood Weekender, Community Festival, Y-Not, Kendal Calling, Boardmasters and Reading & Leeds.

Produced by alt-rock specialist Zakk Cervini, the album sees Waves’ songwriter Heather Baron-Gracie pivot away from the band's synth-driven sound and into full-blown pop punk.

Baron-Gracie says of the album, ‘It’s bold and unapologetic, and that’s what the Pale Waves community is about. We don’t need to fit a perfect mould, we don’t need to apologise for being ourselves, and we won’t change for anyone. That acceptance is what connects us.’

Pale Waves’ 2022 UK headline tour dates:
Friday 25 November - Albert Hall, Manchester
Saturday 26 November - O2 Academy, Liverpool
Sunday 27 November - Barrowland Ballroom, Glasgow
Monday 28 November - Fat Sam’s, Dundee
Wednesday 30 November - O2 Academy Brixton, London

Tickets for Pale Wave’s winter tour of the UK go on sale at 10am on Friday 20 May.
