Peter Kay announces first UK tour in 12 years: how to get tickets

Peter Kay has announced his first comedy tour in 12 year. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Saturday 12 November. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of Kay's UK tour dates.
Titled Better Late Than Never, the observational comedy megastar will hit arenas in Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Belfast, Newcastle, Birmingham, Dublin, Glasgow, Cardiff and Nottingham throughout 2022 and 2023.
Kay said, ‘It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now.
‘And with the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35. The same price they were on my previous tour in 2010.'
The tour will be a boon for fans of Kay, who’s remained out of the spotlight for the better part of a decade. He made two appearances earlier this year as part of a charity gig in Manchester to raise money for Laura Nuttall, who has an aggressive version of brain cancer called glioblastoma multiforme.
While he’s become best known for his accessible brand of stand-up, Kay rose to prominence for writing and starring in the hit television shows That Peter Kay Thing, Phoenix Nights and Max And Paddy’s Road To Nowhere in the early 2000s. His most recent sitcom Peter Kay’s Car Share became a phenomenon in the UK, becoming the most watched series ever on the BBC iPlayer.
