Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs have announced a tour of the UK and new single ‘Detroit’. Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10am on Friday 15 November. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the band’s UK performances.

The doom rockers from Newcastle have become renowned for their anarchic live shows, thanks in part to a KEXP gig that went viral (the band have since issued that performance on vinyl for Record Store Day).

Starting on Thursday 3 April at Brighton’s Chalk, the band will then hit venues in London, Bristol, Nottingham, Birmingham, Birkenhead, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The quintet have also released a new single, ‘Detroit’, which vocalist Matt Baty claims, ‘reflects on the worst manifestations of male jealousy and resentment, and the ways in which a lack of accountability can lead to deflecting responsibility in exchange for blaming external forces like fate or God for perceived injustice.’
