Enjoy a riotous laugh as drag kings, their gay pianist and a risqué Zamboni sing classic songs with a raunchy twist, alongside apt scenes from Heated Rivalry. And while there is plenty for fans to chew on in terms of referencing the hit romance series, there are still ample opportunities for those who aren’t quite as hiked-up on the hockey hijinks to be entertained. Expect feats of athleticism, on-point comedy and a whole lot of ass from a cast who are having as much fun as the audience. There is a smattering of iconic love songs throughout, all instantly recognisable as they are hilariously reinvented, thanks to the exceptional vocal talent of the cast.

Performance-wise, this show is superb at serving up a ton of fun and hyping up the audience. It may not be the only musical parody of this series on offer during August, but Puck Bunnies is certainly up for the sauciest sport spoof at the Fringe. But, as entertaining as they are, the jokes are very much in contrast to the rest of the musical, and end up rather one note. Still, this should not stop anyone from fully exploring this gloriously queer late-night blowout.
