Radiohead have announced a run of shows across Europe, including four nights at London’s O2 this November. Tickets will be made available to a select number of people who register on the band's official site between 10am on Friday 5 September and 10pm on Sunday 7 September. Rumours have swirled for months about the prospect of a new Radiohead tour since the band registered a new LLP called RHEUK25 LLP, which was thought to be an acronym for ‘Radiohead Europe UK 2025’. 

Further evidence surfaced when Radiohead’s management (using the pseudonym ‘Blueyed Pictures, inc’) offered a direct donation of four tickets to a ‘Radiohead concert of your choice’ in aid of a fire relief auction for Palisades High School in Los Angeles. The highest bidder would, according to the listing, be able to choose their show ‘based on the band’s tour schedule’. As reported by Resident Advisor, an anonymous source close to the band has confirmed a run of residency shows is planned across Europe this autumn. 

In an email to fans, band drummer Philip Selway wrote: 'Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it.

‘After a seven-year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us. 

‘It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. 

‘For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.’

Fans will only be in with a chance to purchase tickets if they register interest on the Radiohead site. Tickets for the London gigs will cost £85 each. An FAQ on the band’s site claims, ‘The ticket price will stay fixed and not change dynamically.’ 

The FAQ also states, ‘There will be no extra dates announced. These are the only shows that Radiohead will be playing for now. The band hope to do more shows elsewhere in the future.’
