The capital's famous city centre street hosts a series of free and ticketed events for audiences of all ages as part of Burns&Beyond
Rose Street was frequented by Burns and today's bars and restaurants that inhabit the street have remained pillars of Edinburgh history, each building and venue forming part of the city's rich past. During Burns&Beyond,you can explore the shops, bars and restaurants, whilst enjoying comedy, theatre and live music in many of the venues. Here are some of the highlights of the Red, Red Rose Street programme.
Rabbie Ramble
The Rabbie Ramble returns, where families can once again collect a Rabbie Ramble Map from the Information Centre at the Assembly Rooms, George Street and set off to discover hidden clues and puzzles throughout the area. Once complete, claim your prize and earn a well-deserved rest in one of the many cafes, bars or restaurants, where you will find special Burns&Beyond offers in many of the businesses.

The Big Burns Quiz
New for 2020, The Big Burns Quiz will be held in bars throughout Rose Street on Wed 22 Jan. Teams will compete against other bars, testing their knowledge on everything Scotland from Robert Burns to Scottish pop music, Scottish history to popular culture. Chinese New Year – Lucky Red Envelopes
Also during Red, Red Rose Street, you can join in the Chinese New Year celebrations by picking up a Lucky Red Envelope from participating businesses on Rose Street. Find hidden prizes, business offers, Burns&Beyond with Johnnie Walker Festival tickets or maybe a Burns poem to brighten your day.
