Rich Wilson's Still Relevant

Enjoyable set from a woke bloke
In Still Relevant, Rich Wilson sets out to prove that some men are indeed just that, despite the number of terrible ones there are in the world. Although he sounds like 'someone you'd meet on a stag do', it becomes clear that he's a woke feminist geezer and he's not afraid to admit it.
In his set, he tackles issues like sexuality, fat shaming and dick pics with a generous rigour that has the audience in the palm of his hand. After one hilarious story about working in a gay sauna and a sexual encounter he had, it's amusingly revealed that his girlfriend's parents are in the audience. In fact, his girlfriend happens to be fellow comedian Jayde Adams, and he shares with the audience the fact that he wouldn't have been here without her encouragement.
Wilson is a natural with the audience and this is a highly enjoyable hour. There are moments, however, where you can tell that some bits of material need more work done on them than others, but this is a comedian we should expect to see making his way to bigger venues in the years to come. For now he has a Free Fringe set that would satisfy any punter coming in off the street.
