Returning for its third annual edition, Doc'n Roll Music Film Festival is coming to Glasgow Film Theatre and the Cameo Picturehouse in Edinburgh from Monday 1 - Thursday 11 November where the following four musician-focused feature-length documentaries will be screened. Tickets for all screenings are on sale from Thursday 14 October.

Lydia Lunch: The War Is Never Over
Lydia Lunch: The War Is Never Over centres around the Teenage Jesus and the Jerks lead singer and her career, which intersected with the new wave punk scene in 1970s New York.

The Nowhere Inn: St Vincent
Also in the line-up is The Nowhere Inn: St Vincent, a metafictional narrative about the singer creating a documentary with real-life best friend Carrie Brownstein (Portlandia) about her life on tour and the difference between the real Annie Clark and on her on-stage St Vincent persona.

A Symphony Of Noise: Matthew Herbert
A Symphony Of Noise explores the mind of British composer Matthew Herbert and his fascination with creating music that is both politically charged and derived from the nature that surrounds him.

Love Yourself Today: Damien Dempsey + director Q&A
Finally, Love Yourself Today follows Irish singer/songwriter Damien Dempsey and his devoted fans who gather every year for the annual 'Damo's Christmas gig at Vicar Street' to experience what has become a cathartic and communal ritual.
Monday 1 November, 6.30pm, GFT, Glasgow.

The online portion of the programme features an additional 21 feature-length and short films and will be accessible to audiences across the UK for free from Sunday 7 – Sunday 14 November. Highlights from the online film selection include UK premieres of Talking Like Her: Connie Converse, The Remedy: A Hip Hop Documentary, My Name Is Lopez and Áine Tyrrell: Irish Troubadour.
