Sir Tom Jones to play concert in aid of BBC Children in Need hosted by Rob Brydon

The pair will perform at Wembley's SSE Arena in October
In a special concert in aid of BBC Children in Need, Welsh singing legend Sir Tom Jones will team up with compatriot Rob Brydon to celebrate his career so far.
In what has been described as an affectionate and humorous look at his career, Sir Tom will perform alongside special guests. The show will also feature pre-recorded and live comedy pieces.
In career that has spanned over half a century, Sir Tom has had 36 top 40 UK singles and sold over 100 million records including 'It's Not Unusual', 'What's New Pussycat' and 'Delilah'.
Sir Tom said, 'It really is a great honour to be working with BBC Children in Need this year, I hope this night of entertainment will not only be a fantastic experience for those who come along, but will also go on to help disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK who really do need our help.'
Host Rob Brydon said, 'I am delighted to be hosting what is set to be a fantastic evening of music and comedy, two of my favourite things! It’s not unusual for Sir Tom to go above and beyond when it comes to putting on a show, so I have no doubt this will be one to remember, and all for a fantastic cause. '
One Big Night for Children in Need takes place on Thu 8 Oct at the SSE Arena, Wembley. Tickets are on sale from Fri 31 Jul.
The show will be transmitted on BBC One during Children in Need on Fri 31 Nov.
