Electronic duo Slam have announced a brand-new outdoor version of their Pressure Yard Sessions, an all-day party in Galvanizers Yard at Glasgow's SWG3. Taking place on Saturday 31 May, the Sessions will include techno, electro, and house music, and promises a ‘stellar line-up of international guests and local talent’. 

Spearheading the day are Slam themselves, the illustrious house and techno duo who’ve constructed a career in music that stretches as far back as 1988. They’ll be joined by Zenker Brothers, Munich-based DJs behind the cutting-edge Ilian Tape label; Detroit-born and Berlin-based pioneer DJ Stingray 313; forward-thinking DJ Nightwave; Craigie Knowes, who’s celebrating a decade of their titular record label; and Subculture’s Domenic Cappello, renowned for their underground selections.

DJs will perform on SWG3’s Zinc Bar Terrace with a range of outdoor seating, covered bars, and street food vendors for visitors. 

Slam said, ‘Pressure has always been about bringing the best in underground electronic music to Glasgow, and we’re excited to take that energy into the open air for the first time. SWG3’s Galvanizers Yard is the perfect setting for this new chapter, with the industrial landscape and newly created urban art installations courtesy of the Yardworks festival with incredible graffiti from local artists on display. This allows us to create a block party-style atmosphere and we’ve curated a line-up of some of our favourite artists from pioneers of the sound to fresh talent pushing things forward, and we can’t wait to bring this new daytime experience to the city.’
