Future jazzists The Quantic Soul Orchestra are joined by one of the sweetest soul voices around. On the scene since the 60s Ms Spanky Wilson has recorded with everyone that matters from the legendary Marvin Gaye to the equally legendary Sammy Davis Jr. Her vocals have been sampled across the funk and hip hop world but she’s perhaps still best known for her rapturous cover of ‘Sunshine of Your Love’. Add to this Will Holland and his Quantic ensemble and you have something pretty special on your hands.
