Squid have announced a tour for winter 2023. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Thursday 16 February. Find a detailed list of the band’s UK tour dates at the bottom of this article. 

The tour comes in support of the band’s new album O Monolith, set for release on Friday 9 June via Warp Records. The band have teased the album with new single ‘Swing (In A Dream)’, a jittery slice of indie noise that seeks to contain the band’s caterwauling sound into a finely tuned pop extravaganza. 

On the new single, singer and drummer Ollie Judge explains, ‘This was inspired by a dream I had about a painting called "The Swing" by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. In my dream I was in the painting but it was flooded and everything was floating away.’
