Primal Scream, Fred again.., boygenius and Loyle Carner will headline the alternative Scottish festival 

The stage splits for every day of the Connect Festival have been announced, with more line-up announcements to come. Tickets for the festival, which will take place from Friday 25-Sunday 27 August, are on sale now. 

Headliners on Friday 25 August include Primal Scream on the Grand Parade stage and Confidence Man on the Guitars & Other Machines stage. They’ll be joined by rock-pop stalwarts like Franz Ferdinand and Future Islands, as well as cult favourites Jockstrap and Ethan P Flynn. At Connect’s DJ tent, dubbed Unknown Pleasures, the line-up will feature Kruder & Dorfmeister, David Holmes and Dija.

On Saturday 26 August, dance music’s hottest property Fred again.. will headline the Grand Parade stage while mid-2000s indie favourites Friendly Fires will headline the Guitars & Others Machines stage. Also on the bill are Young Fathers, MUNA, Kelly Lee Owens, TAAHLIAH and Terra Kin. 

Sunday 27 August will find joint-headliners boygenius and Loyle Carner grace the Grand Parade, and Arab Strap will headline Guitars & Other Machines. Joining them will be Public Service Broadcasting, Beth Orton, Raye, Katie Gregson-Macleod and more.
