Voltaire and Rousseau
A beautiful stash of rare, secondhand books just a few minutes walk from Glasgow university campus. Sci-fi novels, poetry anthologies, philosophy textbooks, literary criticism primers and antiques are all shelved here from about £2 and up, and there’s an online store too.

Circa Vintage
Down the excellent jumble and antiques trail that is Ruthven Lane (just off Byres Road in the West End), Circa Vintage has a small but always interesting collection of secondhand clothes, ranging from 90s leather backpacks, 80s sheepskin and leather jackets, 50s curtains, 40s costumes jewellery, menswear and more.
