T in the Park: Info

TICKETS
Got one? Well, if you haven’t the last few precious few tickets have just been released through the T in the Park website. Unfortunately, all the camping tickets have sold out, although those of you with camping tickets can splash out £10 for a Thursday campsite entry tickets. For everyone else, there’s some good news at last as at the time of printing there were still a handful of day and weekend without camping tickets left. Prices range from £60 for a Friday day ticket to £170 for a weekend no camping ticket. Tickets are available from T in the Park’s only official outlet for 2009, Ticketmaster. Visit www.ticketmaster.co.uk, or call 08444 999 990.
HOW TO GET THERE
For a festival named the world’s Largest Carbon Neutral in 2006, T’s message is one of public transport, and if you must travel by car, car share and be kinder to the planet.
BY BUS
Scottish Citylink come highly recommended, as not only do their coaches depart from 32 destinations across Scotland alone, the highest number in T history, they also drop you off at the entrance to the festival. We advise booking ahead of time to save queuing on the day.
CAR PARK PASSES
For those of you that have no choice but to drive to the festival, parking spaces are limited, and if you weren’t able to book your car park ticket before July, when they cost £17.50, it’ll now cost you £25 if you arrive on the Thursday or Friday and £20 on the Saturday or Sunday. Remember that if you didn’t pre-book your car park ticket, you will be charged again if your car leaves and then re-enters the car park.
ON TV, ONLINE AND RADIO
If you didn’t get a ticket, or if you just want to experience the delights of the festival from the comforts of your own home, then Aunty Beeb will be streaming each moment live on TV, radio and the internet.
