The tour will come in support of his forthcoming album Deadbeat

Tame Impala has announced a run of arena dates across the UK and Ireland as part of a larger world tour. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday 3 October. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of his UK and Ireland tour dates.
The announcement comes as Tame Impala (Kevin Parker’s long-running psych-pop experiment) hits the promo trail for his fifth LP Deadbeat, which is set for release on Friday 17 October via Columbia Records. Promising to be his most direct work to date, the album draws inspiration from bush doof culture and the Western Australia rave scene.
Starting at London’s O2 on Thursday 7 May, Parker will then visit Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena on Friday 8 May, Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on Saturday 9 May, Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Monday 11 May and Dublin’s 3Arena on Wednesday 13 May.
