Teaser released for Caitlin Moran’s new comedy drama Raised By Wolves

Channel 4 reveal teaser for series based on Moran’s childhood in Wolverhampton
Following the pilot that aired in December 2013 Channel 4 have released a three minute ‘teaser’ for new comedy Raised By Wolves.
The six episode series is written by bestselling author and journalist Caitlin Moran along with her sister Caroline (Caz) and is a modern day reimagining of Catlin Moran’s formative years living on a Wolverhampton council estate as detailed in her autobiography How To Be a Woman. The story centres around two sisters, Germaine and Aretha, played respectively by Helen Monks and Alex Davies and no doubt cast in part due to their resemblance to the Moran sisters.
Fans of the book will recognise plenty of material including Germaine/Catlin’s eccentric dress sense, frank discussion of female masterbation and a preoccupation with snacks. However the Moran’s have enjoyed their artistic licence with the mother of the piece appearing as a profane, leather wearing badass, ‘If I hadn’t vomited my guts up on cheap cider night after night and being punched hard in the tit by a goth in a mosh pit, I wouldn’t be the woman I am today.’
