The Irish folk act recently released EP Home Boys Home on BC Records, featuring three songs; ‘Home Boys Home’, ‘Bonnie Ship The Diamond’ and The Pogues classic ‘The Broad Majestic Shannon’. Discussing the EP, the band said, ‘We decided to go into the studio for a couple of days and record these songs that we have been performing live the last while so anyone who can’t get to our festival gigs will have something to listen to.
‘People have been asking for a release of “Home Boys Home” for a while and it was a good opportunity to record it. We wanted to pay tribute to Shane McGowan by doing a version of “Broad Majestic Shannon” and have thrown in “Bonny Ship The Diamond” for good measure. Hope you enjoy!’
