The Mr Thing Show comedy review: A celebration of silliness
Audience participation, wacky games, a live band and surprise celebrity cameos make for a gloriously chaotic hour

As the audience enter The Mr Thing Show, there’s a button that says ‘DO NOT PRESS’. Maybe a little too intimidating for some but definitely not for others. Our emcee Tom Clarkson struts around, encouraging people to scan a QR code as they take their seats. It becomes clear that the real stars of the show will be the audience themselves.
This hour is quite simply a celebration of silliness. Trying to get that all important phone call from the commissioners in Hollywood, the Mr Thing gang create a show that includes wacky games (the best being ‘You’ve Gotta That Face’) and uncovering some surprising hidden talents among the crowd. However, it’s the magical finale that has everyone on the edge of their seats. Featuring a live house band, banter with the hilarious Puppet Steve and some unexpected celebrity cameos, The Mr Thing Show is guaranteed to leave you smiling.
