The Pogues announce UK tour dates for 2025: How to get tickets
Ireland’s enduring folk act will celebrate 40 years of their seminal album Rum Sodomy & The Lash

The Pogues have announced a headline tour of the UK for 2025. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9.30am on Friday 22 November. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the band’s UK performances.
The band are celebrating the 40-year anniversary of their seminal album Rum Sodomy & The Lash, which will be played in full, including b-sides, extended version tracks plus a special selection of their most beloved material. Enduring tracks from the album include ‘Rainy Night in Soho’, ‘A Pair Of Brown Eyes’ and ‘Dirty Old Town’.
The band’s current line-up consists of James Fearnley, Jem Finer, and Spider Stacy, who’ll be joined by special guests for the performances. They said, ‘After the uproarious bash which was the 40th anniversary of our first record, Red Roses For Me, in 2024, we wanted to do it again, but with Rum Sodomy & the Lash.’
Former Pogues frontman Shane McGowan died in 2023 at the age of 65, leading the surviving members to perform ‘The Parting Glass’ at his funeral. Their Red Roses For Me tour featured a number of guest vocalists in McGowan's stead.
