The Saboteur improvisational comedy review: Interactive game of trust
Five players are all working hard to bring you the funniest improv night ever. Or are they?

Jim Fishwick and On The Fly Impro bring an exciting new show to Adelaide for fans of classic improv games and light comedy. The Saboteur is comprised of many rounds of prompts, all of which challenge the players to produce an entertaining and hilarious show. But there’s a twist to the classic improv set-up: of the five performers on stage, one is seeking to derail the games and ruin the show.
On stage the players rely on themselves and their fellow performers to create each scene. There are no props, save for a few chairs, so the players must invent a world around them based on nothing but Jim Fishwick’s prompts. With no direct audience interaction, viewers influence the show by guessing (on their phones) who the saboteur really is. At the same time, the players take a quiz to figure out who knows the most about the saboteur, with the person with the least knowledge being eliminated each round. So who will you accuse?
