Andrew Wasylyk
The Dundee-based songwriter is releasing his latest LP Irreparable Parables this spring, an impressive work welcoming a starry crew of guest vocalists to help him. He’ll be joined by Kathryn Joseph on tour, who also guests on the album.

The onetime Urvanovic singer-songwriter Tom Irvine is returning to Scotland with his new band, an uplifting combination of indie folk and classical compositions.

Edinburgh International Women's Day Gig
This special event for International Women’s Day features woman-fronted band Machine Orchid alongside SAY Award–nominated songwriter Faith Eliott and Jemima Thewes. It’ll include afternoon acoustic sets and an interactive workshop with performances from Esther Swift and Kirsty Law.

Tessa Rose Jackson
Grabbing the jauntier end of Weather Station and giving it a good shake, Jackson’s bracing indie is a welcome tonic. She’s on the road to promote her new album The Lighthouse.

Beautiful and mysterious, Polly Paulusma has been releasing haunting folk since 2004, and has supported Bob Dylan. She’s visiting Pianodrome to promote her album Wildfires, which released last year to critical acclaim.

Hannah Rarity
The award-winning folk star (who’s toured with Blazin’ Fiddles, Rura, Niteworks and Cherish The Ladies) has been championed in Scotland, in part for her luscious vocals and romantic lyrics.

Irish post-funk outfit are a funny indie foursome combining slap bass hooks with lived-in lyrics. Perfect for a few drinks and a solid jump-around.

Mietze Conte
Fidgety mumble-rock, hyperpop and oddball dance collide in this act from Vienna. One for fans of Ninajirachi or Four Tet.

A keystone of Scotland’s music scene, Wilson’s live shows are characterised by the transcendent soar of her vocals. Her indie spirit has led to a career of small releases that are beloved by those who’ve discovered them.

Toronto’s enduring synth act is back with new album Chin Up Buttercup, which has received glowing praise for its balance of melody and more avant garde influences.
