The life of the double Nobel Prize winner is both a series of fascinating and tragic events, brought to life by the Tangram Theatre Company with electricity and humour.

Following Marie Curie as she travels to America to collect more radium, with the help of an American journalist, the show presents a series of inconvenient meetings, a collection of silly of songs and a commitment to the gift of knowledge .

Previously multi-award nominees for The Origin Of The Species (The Darwin musical), Tangram's approach is high energy and fun filled for all the family. The songs are all filled with funny lines and the life and work of Madam Curie is entertaining revealed with a respect for her achievements.

Despite the highly entertaining central performance, the script occasionally feels stretched, leaving the production slightly over-long. However, it’s generally all good, harmless fun – unlike radioactivity – and an example of how science and theatre can team up to stealthily educate.
