The Peartree House, West Nicolson Street
Whilst the interior décor of this historical landmark is certainly impressive, it’s the large, sprawling beer garden outside that attracts the most attention from Edinburgh locals. The Peartree will be showcasing the Super Bowl on its big screen outdoors, with a variety of hot dogs, burgers and other snacks available from their outdoor bbq shack. If it gets too cold, you can always go inside to warm your cockles by the fireplace.

Belushi’s, Market Street
Belushi’s are hosting a number of Super Bowl events at their bars across Europe. Their Edinburgh residence, connected to St Christopher’s Inn Hostel on the Royal Mile, caters for all the essentials – jugs of beer, chilli cheese fries and nacho stacks amongst other US delicacies. Book ahead for their £10 ‘shotgun’ package, which includes front row seating and two free drink tokens.

Sportsters Bar, Market Street
Also situated on the Royal Mile, Sportsters Bar offers over 30 screens and four projectors to watch the big game on. Sponsored by the Edinburgh Wolves American Football Team, the entertainment includes cheerleaders and a raffle with top prizes. Tickets cost £5 per person and can be purchased on the door.

The Globe Bar, Niddry Street
The Globe Bar has become famous for its hospitality towards students, backpackers and people from all walks of life. Reasonably priced drinks, welcoming bar staff and a friendly clientele make this a top destination for taking in the NFL showcase.

Teviot Row House, Bristo Square
Teviot is one of the oldest and most popular student unions in the world today. Hosted by the Edinburgh University Students' Association, the Super Bowl will be screened in the Sports Bar (one of six bars in Teviot) and the party promises to be an eventful affair.

Beer & Skittles, Picardy Place
As well as their impressive global range of beers, the famous underground pub offers a selection of cocktails and other drinks, as well as free pool tables and dart boards to keep you entertained before kick-off.
