Wannabe there: Spice Girls London gig a sell out
Tickets for the London leg of the Spice Girls reunion tour sold out 38 seconds after fans were notified they had gone on sale.
The group, who has not performed as a five-piece since Geri Halliwell quit in 1998, has added two more London dates to the tour which kicks off in December.
More than one million people in the UK registered for tickets and were notified when they went on sale.
Ticketmaster boss Chris Edmonds said: 'It was a dramatic moment – the sales went live and there was a huge surge as fans bombarded the lines.'
The tour is the handiwork of the group’s original mentor Simon Fuller, with concerts launching in Canada on December 2.
As well as the extra UK dates, a further three dates were added for performances in Vancouver, San Jose, California and Shanghai.
