WATCH: The Deathstroke gameplay trailer from Batman: Arkham Origins
With a month to go until the release of Batman: Arkham Origins (the third in the wildly popular Arkham series), Warner Bros Games UK have unveiled a gameplay trailer featuring the playable character Deathstroke – a villain we've already had a glimpse of in the official Arkham Origins trailer. Only available to those who pre-order the game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC, the Deathstroke Challenge Pack will feature the new character in a special '100-to-1' gameplay mode, in which the player is pitted against 100 adversaries.
In the main story, Deathstroke is just one of eight assassins looking to kill Batman and claim a $50 million bounty offered by the villainous Black Mask. At this point in the Batman chronology, the Caped Crusader doesn't have Robin (or even Batgirl) to rely on, having only been on the job for a couple of years. Still, he's a formidable foe for the array of villains operating in Gotham City, including notorious adversaries such as the Joker, the Penguin and Bane.
