Cardiff Round Table's Sparks in the Park (Sat 2 Nov) at Bute Park features a bonfire, fireworks and entertainment from the team at Heart FM. Pontypool's Round Table Fireworks (Tue 5 Nov) is also scheduled to take place at Pontypool Park once more, with more details to be announced. In Newport there's live music, a funfair and an all important licensed bar at the Celtic Manor's fireworks party (Sat 2 Nov). Cyfarthfa Park will also be hosting their own fireworks spectacular the Big Sparkle (Fri 1 Nov) with funfair rides, food stalls and mascots.

Or if you're on the hunt for a truly atmospheric setting to enjoy the lights, Caldicot Castle will be illuminated in bright hues at their Fireworks Display (Sun 3 Nov), as will Caerphilly Castle (Sat 2 Nov).

Further afield there are plenty of sports clubs and venues putting on their own fireworks including Whitchurch Golf Club's family friendly display (Tue 5 Nov), which kicks off at 7.30pm; expect plenty of bangs and sparkles at Tredegar Golf Club's Funtastic Fireworks (Mon 4 Nov); Parc Y Scarlet's Fireworks Night (Sun 3 Nov), with a funfair and live entertainment; while Caerleon Football Club (Sat 2 Nov) and Rugby Club (Fri 1 Nov) both get in on the action.

However we're betting that Whitchurch Fire Station's Annual Fireworks Party (Tue 5 Nov) will be the safest bonfire party in Wales seeing that it's organised by the local fire brigade.
