So, you’ve got your strawberries and cream ready, and you reckon you look just the part in your nice, bright tennis whites. Now all you need is a place to sit back and watch the action, and luckily for you, we’ve rounded-up a selection of the best places in the UK to do just that.

Edinburgh
The Three Sisters is bringing the tennis court to its courtyard by screening the tournament on its 200” outdoor screen. If you’d rather not brave the Scottish summer however, you could get into the swing of things indoors, and watch the game from the comfort of a bar stool in Belushis, the Amber Rose or the Cambridge Bar.

Glasgow
Over at The Hilton, you can indulge in a spot of Wimbledon Afternoon Tea (which we can only presume means plenty of lovely strawberry-esque things). Otherwise, the best bars to watch the matches in are The Raven, The Curler’s Rest and O’Neill’s Merchant Square.

London
Put on your tennis pumps and ready the rain mac – One New Change is hosting a series of outdoor screenings. Here, you can watch the action from a deck chair on the roof terrace, as you enjoy all manner of tasty food and drink. Otherwise, Londoners can try sitting in the courtyard at the Bluebird, sipping champagne at Mr Fogg’s or enjoying the tournament from the dizzy heights of Altitude.

Manchester
For those hunting for decent-sized screens, the Black Dog Ballroom is a good place to start. There are also strawberries and cream on offer whenever Andy Murray plays, so that’s one more reason to cheer on good ol’ Muz. Other places showing the tournament include Cheers Bar, The Paramount and Dukes 92 (who have something called a Pimms board for two, which quite frankly sounds even more exciting than a Murray-Djokovic final).

Liverpool
The ‘Pool is full of places to watch Wimbledon this year. Top tips include the Hope & Anchor, Walkabout and Rileys Liverpool Grand Central – all of which have good deals and big screens.

Nottingham
You might not have guessed it from the name, but The Sportsman is a good place to watch sport. I know, we’re blowing your mind here. This Long Eaton pub will showing the action live, as will Up and Down Under and Major Oak. The choice is yours, pal.

Birmingham
Brindleyplace is the place to be this summer if you want to see the action on the (very) big screen. It’s completely free to sit down and soak in all that tennis-y goodness, so pack a punnet of strawberries and head along. Otherwise, The Plough, Hennessey’s and The Trocadero are all showing the big games.

Cardiff
Some of the top sports bars in the city will be showing the big games live. We’d suggest heading along to Walkabout and Varsity. And if all the action’s left you hungry for more, The Hilton are serving Wimbledon-themed afternoon tea.

Belfast
It boasts a reputation as Belfast’s oldest family-owned bar, and Lavery’s is also well known for its extensive Wimbledon screenings. Other top picks include the Botanic Inn, which boasts ten screens, and Rockies Sports Bar.
