Wolf Alice announce details of 2025 headline tour: How to get tickets

Wolf Alice have announced a tour of UK arenas (part of a mammoth-sized 43-date trek around the globe) scheduled for this winter. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 23 May. Scroll to the bottom of this article for a detailed list of the band’s UK performances.

The gigs will come in support of the indie rock stalwarts’ latest studio album The Clearing, set for release on Friday 29 August on Columbia. Leading the promo trail for the LP is rousing new single ‘Bloom Baby Bloom’, an impatient rocker held together by an earworm piano hook.

‘I wanted to focus on the performance element of a rock song and sing like Axl Rose, but to be singing a song about being a woman,’ bandleader Ellie Rowsell notes of the song. ‘I’ve used the guitar as a shield in the past and playing it has perhaps been some way to reject the “girl singer in band” trope. But I wanted to focus on my voice as a rock instrument, so it’s been freeing to put the guitar down and reach a point where I don’t feel like I need to prove that I’m a musician.’

Starting at Manchester’s AO Arena on Friday 28 November, the band will then visit Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on Saturday 29 November, Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on Monday 1 December, Leeds’ First Direct Arena on Friday 5 December, Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Sunday 7 December and Dublin’s 3 Arena on Wednesday 10 December. In support of grassroots venues and in accordance with an initiative advocated for by Music Venue Trust, £1 of every ticket sold for the UK arena shows will be donated to fundraising efforts.

When we interviewed Wolf Alice for their performance at TRNSMT in 2018, they were vocal about equal representation on festival bills. 'I think equal representation in all work places and environments is important,' bass player Theo Ellis told us. 'If you want young girls picking up instruments and playing music on those stages you need to be able to see other inspiring females. I've seen people come up to Ellie and talk about picking up a guitar or writing a song because of her. So I think of her as a very inspirational person because there just aren't many women doing it.'
