The Shard is the tallest building in London and Western Europe, standing at 310m high (1,016 ft) and 95 storeys. The building opened to the public in 2013, and houses organisations and businesses such as the Al Jazeera Media Network, Warwick Business School, Matches Fashion, Kraft Heinz and more. There are three restaurants (Oblix, Hutong and Aqua Shard) in the Shard, as well as a Shangri-La Hotel. At the top of the structure is the privately-run observation deck, The View from the Shard, which has two viewing platforms.
