One of the most exciting electronic acts of all time returns Somewhere in an Australian drum and bass club in 2002, electronic music changed forever. It was there that Rob Swire first met Gareth McGrillen and convinced him to team up on a project that fused their shared love of rock, metal and electronica into something no one had heard before. One auspiciously failed hard drive (and a chance meeting with DJ Paul "El Hornet" Harding, who offered to play Swire and McGrillen's own music instead of his usual setlist) later, Pendulum was born.

Strength of Spirit Games - The Rehabilitation Triathlon 2025
Show your support and admiration to the participants of the Rehabilitation Triathlon, hosted by the Royal Navy, supported by Plymouth City Council and sponsored by AECOM and The Royal Marines Charity. A triathlon that will get the crowds excitement going as you see the pure determination and commitment of those competing in the event. ​It is expected that 200 participants from the UK Tri-Services and Veterans will attend this event, along with International teams from the United States Marine Corps' and Royal Netherlands Marine Corps'. The event will have full and sprint distances with participants competing in 6 different categories dependent upon the nature of injury and their physical ability. A team relay (2 / 3 competitors) event is also available over the full distance. Sprint Distance: Pool Swim - 200 metres Bike - 6.6 km Row - 2.5 km Full Distance: Pool Swim - 400 metres Bike - 13.2 km Row - 5 km Distances may vary slightly. The swim will take place in the art-deco Tinside Lido. The cycle will consist of a time trial across Plymouth Hoe. The row will be static on rowing machines in a marquee positioned on the Hoe promenade. The all-important Awards Ceremony will be held on the main stage on Plymouth Hoe, along with a performance from the amazing Royal Marines Corps of Drums. Event race manual, detailing timings and important race day information, will be sent to participants following registration. This incredible event is hosted by the Royal Navy, supported by Plymouth City Council and sponsored by The Royal Marines Charity and AECOM - As part of this Strength of Spirit Games, the day will also include a School Sports Partnership event for the younger athletes, many Charity stalls to be viewed, and a variety of vendors to keep the hunger at bay, so get yourself along to Plymouth Hoe and see what it is all about.
