What's On @ The Cabin

Brooks Williams

Brooks Williams

23 Feb 2026 - 23 Feb 2026

Brooks Williams is a long-time Club favourite. If you've not seen him before, he's a country/blues/folk guitarist, singer and songwriter born in Statesboro, Georgia, though he's lived in the UK for more than 20 years and has played thousands of gigs on stages all over the US and UK. With an easy, relaxed stage presence, a great warm voice and simply astounding guitar chops, it's easy to see why, and this will be a wonderful evening of acoustic musical entertainment. A personal favourite - don't miss out!
The Mark Harrison Band

The Mark Harrison Band

27 Apr 2026 - 27 Apr 2026

The multi-award nominated roots/folk and bluesy Mark Harrison Band return to The Cabin for what promises to be another stunning performance from Mark, Charles Benfield (upright bass) and Ben Welburn (percussion). A great friend of the club and a busy festival favourite, Mark writes songs about life with musical tales that move from melancholy through satire to mirth. This observational song-smith presents a fantastic collection of thought-provoking numbers, a la Ray Davies or Tom Waits. The songs maybe self-penned but the earworms soon get to work on rattling around your ossicles, during and after their consistently fine shows... Not to be missed!
Sean Taylor

Sean Taylor

25 May 2026 - 25 May 2026

Renowned UK-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sean Taylor is celebrated for his roots-influenced music, blending blues, Americana, jazz, folk and spoken word into a style all his own. Sean is known internationally for his evocative songwriting, and dynamic live performances and he has been a firm favourite with our club regulars for over 10 years. We often refer to him as "The Perpetual Troubadour" as when you call him, you can guarantee he is travelling to a show somewhere on the planet, usually by train! Somewhere between John Martyn and Leonard Cohen, Mr Taylor will leave you fully entertained. Always a fantastic night!
Kyla Brox

Kyla Brox

29 Jun 2026 - 29 Jun 2026

Kyla Brox is musically where blues and soul become inextricably entwined! Described as "the finest female blues singer of her generation!", Kyla is a multi-award-nominated and award-winning performer and also the daughter of the late great blues legend, Victor Brox. She began her career as a teenager in her father's band and honed her own sophisticated sound while sitting-in with some of the top players in the land. Kyla is considered to be at the very top of the UK blues scene, with thousands of worldwide album sales and many critically acclaimed albums; check-out "Throw Away Your Blues" and "Pain And Glory" (reaching No.1 in the IBBA charts). Great reviews and further nominations have led Ms. Brox and her Band to be invited to play major festivals and top venues across the globe. For tonight's performance, Kyla will be joined by her husband and musical partner, virtuoso acoustic guitarist, Danny Blomeley. Kyla and Danny's last show at The Cabin was sold-out. We anticipate this happening again, so please book to avoid disappointment.
