Warnham Village Hall

Warnham Village Hall is a modern building located in the centre of the village of Warnham, near the town of Horsham in West Sussex. Warnham first had a village hall in late Victorian times. The local resident and benefactor, Sir Henry Harben, established a charity to provide the residents of Warnham with a village hall. This served the village until the early 1970's when it was replaced with the present building, not far from the site of the original hall. The present village hall has an open aspect to the building, being well designed, benefiting from natural light and possessing its own enclosed patio area. It looks out onto a magnificent oak tree and beyond, the village playground and cricketfield. It has good car parking.

Following yet another run-in with the Police, Community Service beckons at the last place on earth she wants to be, Newmark Care Home, a punishment she resents. There she meets Grace, a former headmistress. Their rocky first encounter soon gives way to an unexpected friendship and Grace becomes Gen's new confident. But all is not well at Newmark and after several confrontations with the owner, Dr Coldwell, Gen discovers he has a secret past. With the support of Geoff, her Probation Officer, Nurse Clarke and a friendship with Grace that spans a generation, Gen discovers a new path, a new strength to find the person responsible for the tragic events that have taken place and for the first time... hope!
