The Brighton Slamologue, a monologue slam where performers deliver 2-3 minute monologues from existing plays—expect quirky, offbeat choices - not overdone speeches! Every week selected audience members get to vote, deciding who snags the cash prizes and wins the slam. Whether you’re an acting pro or theatre newbie, this is an evening you will love. The tickets on sale are for audience tickets only. To be a part of the Slam itself, places are limited to 7 each month and are given on a first come, first served basis. To secure your place, you will need to email [email protected], saying that you wish to perform a monologue. A performer ticket will cost £4 and that will be payable once your place on that month's Slam has been booked. This will all be arranged via email.

Below, in the bar, wander through the enchanting night market, where local artisans showcase their crafted treasures. Our night market runs through-out the evening of The Court, welcoming you at The Yellow Book from 18:00 - 22:00.

When her intrusive thoughts manifest as monsters made from plastic bags, she begins to question the absurd lengths the mind will go through to create an illusion of safety. UnTethered explores the challenges of intimacy, and seeks to communicate a truthful portrayal of the often clichéd experience of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Pushing at the boundaries of fixed identity, UnTethered asks if we should tether to the things that make us feel safe, or if the power lies in the letting go.
