Join professional florist Felicity Cook from Briar House Flowers who will guide you through each process from wiring moss to create the base to the finishing touches of ribbon & berries. With a variety of materials provided, your wreath will be your own unique creation. Just to make the day that little more special, we will be serving you a delicious lunch; and at the end of the day your creative efforts will be rewarded with afternoon refreshments. All materials and equipment are provided & you get your very own handmade Christmas wreath to take home in time for the start of Advent. Flowers Band, based in Gloucester, has been thrilling audiences for over 55 years. The band began in 1968 when former members of the Royal Gloucestershire Hussars Brass Band kept their passion alive by forming a new ensemble. From local carnivals and early contest success to rising through the brass band ranks, Flowers has grown into one of the UK's most respected championship section bands. The band has achieved numerous competition victories & high-profile performances, recorded multiple albums, and appeared on BBC radio and television. Today, Flowers continues to excel in major contests, including becoming 2024 National Champions of Great Britain, representing England at the European Championships, and performing at prestigious events across the UK and beyond.

The Iconic Works of Robert Mouseman Thompson To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Robert Thompson in May 1876, we are delighted to be hosting a talk & lunch. Our in-house Mouseman specialist Diane Sinnott will offer insight into some of Mousemans most iconic early pieces of furniture such as the Hutch, the evolution of the Monks Chair, and selected important commissions. Diane will also discuss Mouseman master carvers including George Weightman and Stan Dodds. Timings 10am-11am - Optional behind the scenes tour (Additional 10) 11am - Arrival for those not attending the tour. His staff are doing their best to make sure everything runs smoothly but when the manager suddenly keels over in the middle of the dining room they're faced with trying to make sure the guests don't notice. That is until they realise this is now a murder investigation and the guests have seen and heard everything making them the perfect people to solve the case. Join us for our murder mystery nod to Fawlty Towers in a hotel that would run so smoothly without the general manager! But just who would be determined to put that idea to the test?
