This year marks the 100th anniversary of the famous exhibition in Paris that gave its name to arguably the most popular jewellery design movement of recent decades. The geometric patterns, bold colours and interesting materials that create genuine Art Deco pieces mean strong competition whenever they appear at auction. Join Tennants Jewellery Specialists Jessica Fall and Sarah Bradley to discover the styles and techniques that were borne from this period and see some of our favourite highlights from the era. Jessica and Sarah will talk you through spotting the difference between Art Deco and Art Deco style, focus on designers of the period and explore auction highlights. The day also includes an optional behind the scenes tour of Tennants, offering the chance to meet the specialists, find out some of the secrets of the salerooms and hear more about how Tennants brings together over 80 live auctions every year.
