Joining the dots that have not been joined for a long time, the collective takes on people of all sexualities, gender expressions and body types. “We are very proud to bring this music back to its inclusive roots. Let’s forget the disjointed and cliquey scene we live in, and bring back what once united us.” Crafting songs with real musicians, the group’s name was inspired by Ladies of the 80’s by Eighties Ladies, the album from a girl group produced by Roy Ayers, “I just loved the whole concept, and I wanted to do the same thing with Girls of the Internet,” explains the group’s founding member Tom Kerridge. “I wanted a name that played with gender, and people’s subconscious misogyny. Girls of the Internet is abstract – it means nothing, and it means everything.”

29 May 2025 - 29 May 2025

POLYSTYRENE is a brand new electronic night, showcasing Brighton’s exciting independent dance scene. Incorporating energetic mixes of dance, hyperpop, hardcore, bassline, club, bubblegum and everything in between. This night is where you’ll see some of the best forward thinking and creative artists the local scene has to offer. Street dog baby angel started as a bedroom DJ, before getting involved with @ctrlaltdelbtn, beginning their quest to shutdown as many basement venues as possible. A disciple of early PC Music and Bubblegum Bass, their hours trawling Soundcloud for bootlegs formed the basis of their sugary, energetic style. With Street dog, it’s always a party. Vivian clarke references decades of electronic dance to bring a glittery, sharp, distorted and elated performance. As well as solo work they’re also co director of PERMALINK RECORDS and one half of vibrant alt pop outfit ROLLINSON. When asked for a description, all received was: “Kekeneko. Dope ass dj.” Bringing equal influence from underground internet mp3’s alongside iconic pop artists and packaging it into a hyper danceable club experience, they demand your attention by warping genre lines. Big Wizard plays hard, fast, gay noises littered with crushed kick drums and warped basses. They enjoy overstimulation at any BPM, bringing this energy into every mix. They help run @transcend.borders, which has raised hundreds of pounds for trans migrants. Also likes long walks on the beach. £5 adv / £8 on the door Presented by DUST. This is an 18+ event

Ducks Ltd

Ducks Ltd

24 Aug 2025 - 2 Sept 2025

Toronto’s Ducks Ltd. (formerly Ducks Unlimited), the bright jangle-pop duo of Tom McGreevy (lead vocal, guitar, bass, keyboards) and Evan Lewis (guitar, bass, drum programming), accomplish the impossible. The pair craft songs that play to very specific inspirations without drowning underneath them—immediately evidenced on their critically acclaimed EP, Get Bleak, and sharpened on Modern Fiction, their debut LP. “The Servants, The Clean, The Chills, The Bats, Television Personalities, Felt,” Evan rattles off. “Look Blue Go Purple is one I reference a lot with our production.” Echoes of ‘80s indiepop abound, but they never overwhelm. This is not a nostalgic record, after all, nor is it a derivative one. Instead, across 10 cheery-sounding songs, Ducks Ltd. explore contemporary society in decline, examining large scale human disaster through personal turmoil (hence the title, taken from a university course called Gnosticism and Nihilism in Modern Fiction, influenced by Graham Greene novels. Bookish indie fans, look no further). This is an 18+ event (Photo ID Required).
