Somborne Sessions presents: Katy Hurt & Band Live in concert Katy Hurt is one of those rare talents that can write and perform with equal impact. Maverick magazine gave Unfinished Business, Katy Hurts self-released EP which produced the Top 20 hit singles Revved Up and Unfinished Business, a 5 star review, noting incredible vocals, slick guitar work, excellent rhythm and most importantly superb songs with raw talent seeping through each track. Steeped in Country roots, but never one to simply yield to the traditional Nashville sound, Katy stretches the Country music genre in exciting new directions. Haunting Blues vocals, towering Country Rock guitars, even a Reggae vibe can be found in live performances. Katy has toured with Gangstagrass, the ground-breaking New York band who created the unlikely Bluegrass/Hip-Hop fusion. She has performed support slots for Liam Gallagher and The Bellamy Brothers, and also opened for Jools Holland at Kimbolton Castle. Over The Moon

Over The Moon

8 Feb 2026 - 8 Feb 2026

Somborne Sessions presents: Over The Moon Live in concert Over The Moon is a Juno-nominated Canadian treasure. Craig Bignell and Suzanne Levesque are a couple as well as band mates. Their banter, interplay and eye contact while they play clearly demonstrates their dedication to each other and to their craft, and that the stars pretty much aligned to put them together. For that we are grateful. Some might call it country music, some might call it bluegrass, or western music, but with its accomplished songwriting, fantastic harmonies and great arrangements, we think it's just darned good music. Witty, engaging and catchy songs invite you in from the first measure, and this duo injects so much passion and skill into their songs, youd be hard pressed to better them with a full band. Suzannes clear and beautiful alto voice seems to echo the environment of the Alberta foothills, where the couple currently lives. Craig has spent much of his adulthood playing percussion and drums in other peoples bands. Drumming took him all over the world, but he was frustrated at the artistic limitations and wanted to develop his guitar and banjo playing. Meeting Suzanne was the spark he needed. The couple are naturals on stage, clearly delighted to be there and interspersing entertaining, tongue-in-cheek banter with stories of their lives in the tiny village of Longview, Alberta. Guaranteed to win you over... don't miss this! THE VERY ESSENCE OF TRADITIONAL COUNTRY-FOLK AT IT'S FINEST. SOOTHING FOR THE SOUL AND A GLIMPSE INTO THE ETHEREAL Maverick Magazine, UK Tickets: 16.00 in advance, 18.00 on the door (Advance tickets available up to 1pm on day of performance) Doors open: 7:30pm Please note: This event is on a SUNDAY (not our usual Saturday)

8 Nov 2025 - 8 Nov 2025

Somborne Sessions presents: Roswell Road Live in concert Jasmine Watkiss and Zo Wren formed Americana duo Roswell Road after a chance meeting led to them being gently forced to sing together in a busy Cambridgeshire market square. Their musical chemistry was instantaneous and they've been singing and writing songs together ever since. The London-based multi-instrumentalists blend close harmonies with candid storytelling, drawing on experiences from mental health to family love to real-life activist adventures at sea. Roswell Road's sound, which has drawn comparisons to First Aid Kit, Fleetwood Mac and the Indigo Girls, has taken them from sold-out shows at London's Green Note to stages across Europe, including Costa Festival Ibiza and a showcase at MiCannes, France. They have played festivals from Cambridge and Shrewsbury Folk Festivals to the Fte de la musique Genve. Winning Purbeck Rising in their first year as a band, Roswell Road's first release earned the title of Fatea EP of the Year, and the duo went on to be named winners of the Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Competition.
